for us to bring us up to date on the events it didn't take assume that if you would some of what the u.s. president had to say first of all then. well kevin you know it's interesting we report we've been reporting over the last couple of days that new york has been taken over by new york u.n. general assembly madness but i have to tell you that it's really today's the day when the frenzy has really taken over the city we haven't seen traffic we have policemen everywhere and it's ironic that the u.s. president barack obama was supposed to make a speech at a certain time today but he ended up also being late for his speech to address the u.n. general assembly in the assembly hall apparently all of this traffic was there for him so he could get places faster but he ended up being the one who is late so that's a little irony for you there but on a more serious note we have to say that the speech that he made many analysts were saying and predicting that the speech will be an attempt by him to try to win more political points since of course the midterm elections are approaching in the un
